Those bolt ons only helped you add like 5 horsepower tops, and I'm sure you spent over 500$ on those mods didn't you?
If you want more power either swap it or Turbo.

WASTE OF MONEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

If you want real upgrades for a Civic, get upgrades that'll make it more comfortable.
Like a weighted shift knob ($50), shifter. ($20)
Interior lighting ($10)
Exterior lighting. ($??)
Front seats ($30-$200+)
Suspension (Coilovers) ($500+)
Stabalizer (Sway) bars. ($100+).

Here's a FAQ/DIY I compiled on some options:

I have to agree with CO, should've made it more comfortable rather than adding 5HPs that aren't noticeable.

Look at the 500 you spent and the 400 more you want to spend, if you saved that and threw a bit more on top you could've boosted and gotten much better results

dam i feel a much better difference with the accelerating and by the end of the month i should have 1700$ as long as i dont spend it i was told to do a swap to B16 and make it manual too and it cost me 300$ for the parts i put in and i did them my self so that saved me money for someone to put them in

Clean it. Maintain it if its not already maintained well.
Look into getting a 99-00 lip, make sure its PU/polyurethane if youre getting a replic. If not I recommend these 99-00 lips:
99-00 OEM Si/CTR

99-00 Mugen/Mugen replica

99-00 Tsunami lip

09-10 or earlier and later years Honda Fit Sport front lip (direct fit)

Detail the bay with the right cleaning supplies. I used Simple Green and wd40, make sure you cover electronics and belts.

Paint your valve cover, I did mine in Grey Metallic.

Stop spending money on the D series if you are planning on swapping to B series.

stop spending money on this motor
if you where planning on swapping it why not keep the money you already spent on bolt ons on the d series and put it towards the swap
also do you have the mechanical abilty to do the 5 speed swap and b series swap?

I agree with Emerican. If recently spent all that money on the plugs, wires, and header when you're going to do an engine swap soon, then you kinda wasted your money. Although, should be able to get most of your cash back my selling the slightly used header and intake. It won't actually add HP, but if looking to spend a little more, make sure your brakes and suspension are good. More HP won't help ya if your brakes fail or your bushings are toast. My advice, though? Stop trying to go over 104 on the street. No reason to go that fast, unless you're on the track. If you're going to track it, then start pulling out all the excess weight first such as the audio, a/c and heater, cruise control, extra seating, door liners, alarm, etc. removing all that costs ya nothing but time and can help fund the parts you need.

I agree with everyone ,I have a d16 with parts but havent spent huge money on it just on rims, brakes and interior things and my paint job.but I choose to,keep my d because thats all I want its my daily and I cruise and race around and have fun im not tryna go 200mph ,I mean the D is fast or speedy like any motor but its not b,k motor or any other car fast but like they said who is going fast all the time,I speed around but not always, get suspension as tight as you can,and get the b motor swap and all if you still want it.and enjoy

09-10 or earlier and later years Honda Fit Sport front lip (direct fit)

is not a direct fit...it's close, but it's not. Just like any other badly fitting replica piece of junk that doesn't fit properly, it needs some work in order to fit correct.

Good point...
From threads regarding Fit Sport lip fitment:
"Yea it works I had it on my si all I did was put 2 washers on each side then screwed it on to make it fight tight"

"I had it on the 00 but 99 00 the same I think for 96 through 98 The sides will be longer so you maybe gotta cut it"

"Nah you dont have to cut it the most your gonna have to do is warm up the outer parts so they wont break going into the bumper.. Like where the bolts go the corner parts thats the only thing that you might have a problem with...On my boys SI his went in perfectly.. Today i saw a 99 hatch just like mines with both front and back lips from the fit.. The Back lip if you have a 96+ hatch is perfect."
