00 honda no spark help

My 00 ex coupe d16y8 with tec ign. has no spark I was tracing the problem down and got down to the rotor button took the screw out and the rotor is stuck on the shaft. It looks good so I don't want to break it off. I will if it comes down to it but I have no spark at the coil so I need to get the cover off to check the module. O and the car has been starting like crap, It would crank up and then die 1-2 times then it would run fine now cranks but no start I have fuel pressure and timing is good so anyone think this was all one issue or should I go ahead and replace the iacv also?

Check whether the timing belt snapped or stripped.

Check whether dash fuse 9 is blown. If not, verify that battery voltage reaches the coil and ICM.

Cut the rotor off and replace it.

Have AutoZone test the the ICM for you.

Ohm test the coil. See service manual at site 1 in my signature.

yeah I broke the rotor this morning and it started raining so I haven't checked the module yet I already checked all the fuses Im fairly sure its just a bad coil

Chase your hunch and see where it takes you, though a more methodical approach than guessing would likely save you both time and money in the end.

I checked everything out my coil is shot. Iv got spark in and no spark out so the problem is the coil thanks for the advice bro.
