I got a t3 turbo that im going to mate up 2 thatwith a 38mm 8psi wastegate. I was wondering could i run a vortech 12:1 FMU and be pretty reasonable for now or until i get more money?? Also im going to run the 8 psi and FMIC. So let me know whats up

save up your money and do the tuning part right the first time.

an FMU will work fine, just dont push it too much until you get a real tune

it will work fine on low boost. but IMO, whats the point of turboing if you cant run the motor like you want?

just save for a chipped ecu or a Hondata setup and do it right the first time around

get a chipped p28 or a p72 for like $150, obd2b -> obd1 conversion harness for $75, and run uberdata or crome for free. then theres tuning which varies with the tuner

I could also help you out in that category if you are looking for an ecu/harness.

That is definitley one of the most important things about turboing a vehicle. If you don't take into account the fuel management then I would not turbo the car. I wouldn't install the turbo kit untill you get or have plans to get a good management setup on there. The FMU will get you around town, but still that doesn't touch the timing which is a very important part as well.

Most people want to just bolt on a turbo kit and go. That is a good idea if you want a blown motor.

that being said, if you do decide to just get around with the fmu for awhile, clock your dizzy towards the front a lil. if you got a timing light, retard it a few degrees.

a little offtopic, but where did you pick it up?

also, you need the matching wheel along with the housing and backplate
