01-05 civic shifter knob on 96-00 civic?

Will this fit, as is it a direct screw on for my 2000 civic? I cant find anything saying if it will fit or not.

i have an ep3 shift in my em1. it fits just fine.

yea, i think the thread pattern is the same for all the hondas...not sure though...

why would you want one? the shifter has a piece of plastic on the bottom of it and attatches to the shift boot on the EM2. if you did it you would have to swap the boot too to make it look right.

I was going to just hack the bottem piece off with a saw so it sits flush.

I've got an 03 accord shift knob on mine. Looks good and it's half leather too!
