To make this story short, some JACKASS broke into my car earlier today ( I guess he was watching me go inside of my work ) and took out my entire dashboard. He shattered the window and the alarm was going off. One of my co-workers saw and told me immediately. We called the police & he told me usually these people will stalk you and your car first and find what they want so when they come and take your stuff, they know exactly what to get. But they could of done WAY MORE DAMAGE to it, thank god they didn't. Now anyways, my insurance will most likely pay for the window but I'm not sure about the cd player. It was a kenwood... probably worth maybe $150. The thing is, I don't have a reciept for it. Also the person who stole my cd player also snipped the alarm wire so there's a peice of wire hanging on the left side under the steering wheel. Do you guys think State Farm insurance would cover the radio and/or reimburse me for a new alarm? Also, what kind of cd players are on sale? I want one that has a removeable faceplate.

state farm and team 22 are probably hands down the best insurance company to deal with.
Take it to a state farm adjuster. Call them to find out where one is.
They will cover the window, and any damage done to your dash during the break in. And any other part of the console that was even slightly damaged by the thief. They will pay for a new deck and the labor to fix the alarm. Minus the deductable.

2004 state farm paid us out 11,000 in various claims. Without hardly any hassle
THEY ROCK

doesn't it matter on your insurance plan? I thought you had to put your car stereo on your plan to get it covered (higher premiums), at least thats how my plan is :(

you do not have to add any stereo equipment on state farm. Its automatically covered if you have full coverage

State Farm insurance wants a copy of the recipt when i purchased my Kenwood cd player for my car. Since I cant find it, they maybe gonna give me a factory radio which doesnt have a cd player. The one came with my car was a cassete player. The only proof i have left is a picture of the cd player in my car before it was stolen. anyone think they would give me a new one?
