01 Civic Speaker upgrade

So I am upgrading my speakers to Rockford Fosgate punch series, 6.5 in front and 6x9 in the rear. I found out how much of a pain in the *** this is. I was just wondering if there was better speakers then the punch series that will actually fit in the original spots without modification.
Also I already tore the car apart I found out they do not fit. sucks pretty bad but I really wanted to use them but no matter what I do it will not work. Even spacers won't these dang speakers haha. odd shape.

are you talking about the doors or the rears won't fit ?? what you can do for the rear is buy a pair of 5 or 6 inch components round style then cut a piece of wood out to fit the stock hole then cut holes for the components thats what i did

Nah the rears will fit just fine with a very very small spacer. Its just the front.

yeah that always seems to be a problem im unable to put the window down all the way but i didn't use spacers.
