OK, so I tried to install a new touch screen deck in my car, and it wouldn't work, so im after checking and re-checking the wiring, but now the gauges are jumping when the key is turned on ( like a bad ground) but didn't do this before trying to install this, and my Power locks no longer work either, which makes me belive blown fuse? Also for the stereo the wire named : BRAKE is usually grounded so you dont get the warning correct? Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

It's been forever since i've done any stereo work but it seems to me the "brake" wires were suppose to go the e-brake so you can't be watching pr0n unless your e-brake was pulled creating the ground circuit... and a mess on your steering wheel.

Unhook your "brake" wire from ground and see what happens :what:

Well I have tried it again and my power locks work WHEN the car is on, my horn works if the car is on or off, and my cluster lights up, and I have NO blinkers.... so I checked the fuses for the stereo and the turn signals.... and both are good, so im wondering if there is a master fuse under the hood or dash? like an Instrument fuse, I dont have a tach in the car (never had one, its only a base model) and the car is in winter storage mode and isnt going to be able to move, so I cant see if the spedometer works... hmm! well thanks for a quick responce!

EDIT: also forgot to mention in the first post that it accidentaly had the 12v hit some metal and sparked...

Ok, well ill give it a check and report back! thanks! , and Yeah SORRY for the caps hahahaha!

Well I checked the under the hood fues and there was no blown fuses so im stumped...

Sorry for the triple post but I tried resetting the ECU, but to no avail, also I noticed that the reason the blinkers arn't working is that I never had the hazard switch hooked up... but still no deck or power locks, and it is still bouncing on the gauges like a bad ground... also gas and temp hands are working!
