Hey all, new to the site. Im runnin an 02 civic ex stock, with the exception of an intake and straight pipe. Its loud but just doesnt have the push im really wanting. I would really like to avoid an engine swap so can anyone give me some ideas on what all i can do to get some more power. (D17 A2)

bolt ons are about as far as you are going to go

Really Sh!tty platform, the only thing that you can do is bolt-ons...and maybe a turbo kit, but I am not too sure if anyone makes a kit, or if anyone has home made one for it before...Other than that, the only motor that you can legally swap into it, is a K-Series motor...Which has been done before....Good luck with the build...Like I said, really sh!tty platform, but hey it is still a Honda...Atleast it's not a Kia, toyota, or a Mitsubishi !!!

I figured i wouldnt have much i could do. I didnt have much choice on getting the car., needed one quick n got a good deal on it. Ive been searching for an older model but noone wants to give em up. Thanks for the input though.
