I recently sent my car into the garage to get new brake discs, pads, oil and 17" Alloys put onto it. Since I got the car back I'm having acceleration problems. At a certain straight on the motorway comiong home from work I can usually accelerate from 70mph to 80mph with no trouble in 5th gear. Now at this part of the motorway the car struggles to get above 70 in 5th gear.
I was informed that the discs that were put onto the car were slightly bigger than the original ones but the discs are the right parts for that car. I don't see how the new alloys would reduce the power by such a large amount and the oil was brand new. Does anyone know what the problem could be? My car was fine before it went into the garage.
