1 ohm sub wiring

So I want to wire my pioneer premiers at one ohm im looking at this diagram and not quite sure what to do:

If you look at where im pointing to at 1 and 2, how do i connect these two wires?

remove a section of the wire insulation where it would meet up with the second speaker.

and just solder the two together right?

Also, where it says 1 ohm there is a neg and pos terminal is that the back of the box?
