1 piece or 2 piece header?

I've already decided I'm going with a DC Sports ceramic 4-2-1 header for these reasons (am I wrong?):

- DC quality and CARB legal
- ceramic for less heat radiation
- 4-2-1 for midrange power

But what's the diff between the 1 piece and 2 piece designs besides weight and maybe difficulty in installation?

I need to bolt this on myself and I don't have a proper garage/tools so is this doable? I'm fearing that the bolts are all frozen.

Oh yeah... and I can't seem to find a NONFLAMMEABLE penetrating oil. All the stuff at the auto stores are highly flammeable.

Best thing to do is go to a muffler shop and make good friends with one of the workers and ask him how much would "he" charge for installing the headers.

all u really need to install headers is a socket, and a breaker bar. u might wanna put a pipe on the end for better leverage. u also need jack stands that can get the car high enough so u can get it out. shouldnt be all that hard

Crap. I can't even take off the heat shield without removing the A/C radiator because it blocks the space needed so a wrench can undo 2 bolts.

So... for you guys who changed your header yourself... did you like have to take apart unrelated things like this to get to em?
