10 PSI on d16z6

hey cc i have a d16z6 and im going to boost it with a t3 .60ar .48 hot turbo can this engine handle 10 psi boost daily?? i used to have a greddy 8 psi kit on it but im going to run a chipped ecu so let me know

Just run whatever you need to run to get 220-240whp. Most likely 8-10psi on that turbo.

A healthy Z6 on ten pounds and a good tune should live a long happy life....if you are feeling ambitious then swap in some Vitara's and TT rods, that woudl live a long long time on 10-15 pnds with a good tune and be an animal.....

if the engine isnt in good condition, just got some better rods and the vitara's...and you shouldnt have to worry about anything.

my buddy had a 14b on his running 15 on high boost and 10 daily low and it blew up after finally dogging 6 or 7 months later so you should be good and this was with 16x,xxx million miles on it

Im running 8lbs on a basemap. (phearable.net)

Bought tuning gear, and just have to figure it all out... Mine might soon see 10.

Its been running on 8 (with creep to 9).. for 4-5 months now. No problems

On a basemap? I only hit 3-4psi 3 times with my basemap... scared of the untuned horror.

it will run fine at 10psi as long as you have a good tune. a shitty tune will kill a motor at 4psi, lol

id also invest in some ARP headstuds

Eh, I just check the plugs occasionallly. You can tell alot from a plug you know.
And then I light a match to my exhaust... If It ignites, I know im good
