thats a niice gsr.. it sounds awesome.. yeah but he is reving it a little higher than needed, well at least that what it looks and sounds like..

yea talkin about over revin! s**t 9200 this isnt a spoon motor! i bet he doesnt make n e extra hp after 8200.... and then 11.5:1 compression ratio on a turbo motor??? arent you supposed to drop that down to like 9:1? tony the tiger is gonna blow up his motor. i bet with all that boost his motor is prob runnin 15:1-16:1 damnnnn

I like this car and the video.........I really really like this car and this video.....This is just another motivational video for those of you that have not gone to the dark side and installed a turbo on your car....I once joined the dark side but the force was too much and had to return to a N/A Civic.

but isnt his compression a bit to high for force induction?
i know its possible for you to add a turbo to a car that has a compression of 11:1 or somewhere around there becuase I know a friend with a Celica GT-S with an XS enginnering turbo setup...

but me question...wouldnt the wear rate on the internals be at a very very high rate?
and...whats the point in having a high compression car running with a turbo?

yea but im not too impressed. His shifting isnt the greatest in the world. Holding it at the limiter isnt a good thing even if it has forged internals. Great video.

9200 Rev Limiter on AEM EMS which explains the high reving, he is just having boost spike and the tires can't catch which is why the tach jumps so quick before he can shift. The turbo is still making power up to that point it's just you don't need that high of a rpm band. You can run high compression on a turbocharged car it just limits the amount of power you can make down the road. Static compression will limit you to the amount of power you can make on pump gas.For instance if he wanted to raise the boost to like 15lbs instead of using 94 octane he would proably have to run a mixture with some higher octane or maybe even race gas. Which is why when people turbocharge cars they drop the compression so that it's able to run smoothly on pump gas even when they raise the boost. Therefore a person with a low compression engine will be able to raise the boost higher and still run on pump gas before the person with high compression will!
