I have recently bought a 1991 honda civic and I have been having a lot of trouble with the wiring. Who ever had the car before did some rewiring. And they did a terrible job. So I am trying to do it right this time. I wanted to get it all back to original wiring. I finally got it all done and I ran into some problems.
1. The blinkers don't work. And the hazards don't work. I turn them on and there blinker indicators flashing on the dash and the blinkers lights don't work. The CEL will turn on if the blinkers are turned on. If i have the head lights on then the CEL turns on and when I turn the blinkers on while the head lights are on then the CEL turns off..
2. The break lights don't work. The running lights all work but when I press on the break pedal nothing happens.
Currently the is no stereo at all in the car. And all the fuses are good. I could not find a good manual on my car that said anything about this problem. I could use all the help I can get.
