think its 70hp, 92 torque......i think the cx's are some of the lightest civics out there, just over 2000lbs.....u wont get any performance out of that 8-valve d15b with low compression im sorry to say. u would have to swap in another engine. bolt ons or even turbo would be a bad way to spend ur money on that engine.

strange... What is the engine code? It should etched into a square, flat area where the engine joins the tranny...sort of behind the fornt bumper, and to the left of the exhaust manifold.

That's not the CX engine, that engine is from a DX.

If you want, post your chassis code, and we can figure out what your car actually is... Look at the VIN, and post the 4th-6th letters/digits. THe VIN should look like this: 1HG XYZ and then some more numbers... XYZ is your chassis code.

It looks like the previous owner swapped in a different engine. The engine that you have (D15B7) is from the 92-95 DX and make 102 hp and 98 tq. As far as makeing more of both, it depends on what your budget, future plans and such are. Most people do the standard boltons first ( I/H/E - intake, header, exhaust ). If you are new to modding, then this is a good place to start. Those three will give you a slight, but noticable increase in power, and are pretty easy to install and are a great way to become more familiar with your car.

Edit:
I forgot to mention this the first time around, but the best way to learn about your car is read what others post here. Search about I/H/E and your questions will be answered.
