1993 civic dx idle problem

car started idling real rough,put new plugs,cap.and rotor no change.started car unpluged IAC to see if idle droped and car cut off.started car two more times,every time i unpluged IAC car shut off.any ideas? thanks

When did it start? Did you.change anything prior to it starting? Have you checked your timing? Checked fuel pressure?

started yesterday im have not replaced anything,will check timing tomorrow

Has the car been sitting for a while or could it be bad gas? Just kind of throwing ideas I have came across with rough idle. As far as pulling your iac the car will do one of two things either stall out or revs at an inconsistent higher rpm.

Could need the fuel filter replaced.

Possibly fuel filter if it has not been changed. Are you geting consistant fuel pressure?
