1993 Honda Civic EX Transmission Problem please Help only vehicle

I have a 1993 Honda Civic EX and the transmission is all the sudden acting really stupid. If I put it in D4 and I am above 35 miles an hour, the transmission will make a LOUD winding up noise and then it will go away if I put any acceleration into it. Like if I have my foot barely on the gas it will go away and be fine. Also, this morning, Reverse went out and will not go into gear. I am assuming I am screwed, and I have no other way of getting my kids to daycare without any help on what this is.

If clutch is still biting best bet is new transmission. Don't know the prices there but they can be anywhere from 100-250 for a used one or you can check out any junk yard. If you just need to get buy and up and running asap. any D series hydro 92-00 civic should work. unless you want to rebuild yours
