Hi I am new on the website. So today I took my car to the emissions place and the inspector kept having trouble and aborting the emission. When he did the Asm 15 mph test he ran the car in first gear at 2979 rpm I believe and the max rpm was 3000. He couldn't keep the speed and rpm's steady so it kept jumping and aborted. I asked him what the minimum rpm at the speed required were but he just blew me off because I am pretty sure he didn't know the answer. I asked him to run the car in second gear at the speed but he refused. So my question is. Is this rpm value of roughly 3k at 15 mph normal and also could anyone tell me what the rpm's would be in second gear at 15 mph. My speedometer does not work and also since the car is a DX there is no rpm gauge. Thank you.
