1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe Suspension

Hi everyone I have 1995 Honda Civic EX Coupe with B18B1 my car still all stock
and bought it brand new (20 Years ago). The whole suspension is shot and would like to replace it. My budget about $800 for parts I want raise the front end because now the extra Weight has messed up the front. I might go little higher if i can get my car to ride like Caddy. The suspensions is really hard and I hate it. I'm not car tunner kinda guy and don't need to race.

Keep in mind you're judging your current suspension ride on the feel of worn 20 year old factory suspension. If you upgrade to a quality suspension then the added engine weight, which shouldnt be more than about 80lbs, wont make much of a difference. Being that you just want a quality comfort ride feel, I dont feel you need to get anywhere close to your $800 budget. You may want to spend any leftover money on OEM suspension bushings to further smooth out the ride (FYI: polyurethane bushings with stiffen up the ride for a sportier feel which isnt what you want). Consider Koni Str.T struts because they ride amazingly smooth. Tein High.Tech springs are great for the cost. Dont waste your time on coilovers. Theyll be useless for your needs.

Also, you are going to have to drop a hell of a lot more than that to get the car to ride like a caddy. Raising it up isn't going to magically make it something it isn't. It was designed to be a commuter not a car that was built with luxury as a number 1 priority.

You want it to ride like a caddy, throw an air suspension kit under the corners. Going to hurt the wallet though.

The Koni Yellows will drop you about 2-2.5 inches, which will be too sporty for your desire. The Str.Ts are closer to OEM ride height with just an inch or so of a drop.

No. Go with the Tein High.tech springs. They'll hold up far better that the OEMs and will be cheaper too. OEM springs dont perform well with any sort of drop.

Yup. Order from an online dealer. It'll be your cheapest option for OEM bushings.

If I recall correctly, those arent all that great. Even if theyre respectable, they're nowhere near as good or proven as the Konis and Teins. You simply cant go wrong with Konis.
