1996 Civic DX Advice and suggestions?

Hey everyone. My name is Jason. I just purchased a 1996 Honda Civic DX two door. I know basic maintenance to vehicles, but not much of anything else. If anyone could possibly find schematics somewhere of the 1.6 liter sohc 4 cylinder and post them for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Also! Any veterans who wouldn't mind giving me advice, tips, and ideas on how to boost its performance in the cheapest and easiest way, again, I would greatly appreciate it. Performance doesnt come cheap nor is it "easy" on a d series. They were built for one thing and thats gas mileage. The best way for power is boost or swap to a bigger motor. Neither are cheap.

As far as your other question your best bet is to down load a service manual online.
