My original clutch has 211,000 miles on it. Will i ever see it fail? Im not compaiing but bracing for a replacement. I was told its a hydraulic adjustment, self adjusting, and that this is normal. But will I ever see the end to is ife or am I thinking of the old days of clutches every 60,000 miles.

Thanks

I replaced the clutch on my d series at ~160,000. It was basically done for. If you are at 211,000 I would say it is on its last legs. Does it feel really weak?

Saw a story about a kid with 400,000 miles on his original clutch. Must drive like a granny.

i would just go ahead and replace it if it is the orginal clutch then you got more than your moneys worth out of it. It can only last so long so i would just go ahead and do it.
