1996 HONDA CIVIC EX car alarm problem

I am having problems with my car alarm locking system , it cant be my key alarm bc i put a new battary in and the small red led light flashes whn i hit the buttons , i think its prob the actual device in the car. :?:

Stock or aftermarket keyless lock and alarm system? Do the locks work perfectly fine from the driver's door switch and lock?
