I have a 1996 Honda civic ex and i wanted know with the engine that i have will I be able to turbo it or should i get a better engine. But the Engine I have is running smooth.

better engine....that depends on what you need/want out of the engine.

with these basic questions being asked, you probably aren't very familiar with boost. So enjoy researching

If the motor is running smooth thats good, but i would still rebuild it, becuase once you put boost to it any weak spots will soon be found.
What you need to rebuild it with and other parts you need depens on budget,goals,setup you want, tune etc.
