I just bought a hatchback from a friend and it will not start. It is not cranking. Battery is good, starter is good. I could not find a ground issue. I have checked the relays and can not tell if they are bad but the main relay I suspect is is the main ignition relay. Could this be the reason or what else could it be. Please help.

Are you getting spark? Are you getting fuel? Find out which one you aren't getting and go from there. It could be a million things.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if there is no crank there is no start. And I forgot to add that I'm getting a clicking from under the dash on the drivers side and I also tried to push start it. No dice.

I'm heading to my local pick a part tomorrow to grab a few relays to try. Hopefully I can fix it I have always wanted this car.

Update: never got to go to the pull a part but I did jump the starter with a screw driver and it started and drove fine making me believe that the ignition it's self is bad. But I'm going to take it to a shop and get a diagnostic ran to make sure
