Good Afternoon!
My name is Joe and I presently have a 1996 Civic LX coupe. Or at least that is what the title says.
I built my first honda in 1997, it was a '95 Del Si. Was in the military and my best friend wrecked his '91 TSI and I bought it back from the insurance company. Ravaged it for parts and shortly there after had a turbo B16. Ended up blowing it up before too terribly long but learned a lot.
Since then I have owned the following hondas which were all in various stages of modification:
'84 Prelude
'85 Prelude
'86 Prelude and Accord
'91 Prelude Si
'92 Prelude Si (converted to H22/LSD Tranny)
'94 Accord
'95 Civic and Integra and Del Sol
'96 Civic (Presently Have) and Del Sol
'99 Prelude Base (the SH was a joke)
'99 Civic Si
'04 CRV
'09 Fit (Wife's Car)
For the most part I am not fond of the later than '01 Hondas and have never owned them. Most of my newer than '01 cars are other things. ('04 Mazda 3 hatch, '05 Mazda Miata, '07 Scion TRD TC)
Presently I am playing with my Civic:
Mods:
17" Wheels (-4 degree camber)
Apexi Coilovers
Adjustable camber plates
DC Sports upper and lower braces in rear
DC Sports lower control arms
"H" Body bracing in front
I honestly dont remember where I got the sway bars
Energy suspension bushings have replaced all stock
Weld in Body Bracing behind front seats
Interior completely swapped to Si (including cluster)
Short Shifter
Mild Stereo (no sub)
There are presently no power upgrades to the car. The D16 I just rebuilt last winter and intend on leaving it the way it is for at least the summer. I have a DC Sports 3" exhaust for it I am not sure what I am doing with. If I end up going to a turbo with it I have it. It's from a previous project. The motor that came with it got rebuilt so I could just roll around in it without concern.
It has the black bumper on it because the kid I bought it from had smacked the front bumper on something and torn it up. No rust, only 1 dent in the drivers door but will fix that when it finally warms up in ohio. He had also done the headlights in it and converted the interior.
