Hey everyone. Recently bought a honda civic ek1 1998 Hatchback and did a OIL Change and Rocker Cover gasket change and tube seals on the engine as they were leaking. Have now done this and did the accelerator cable, (which is on too high currently :/) and now the engine spits out smoke and the heat shield for the engine is insanely hot within a minute or two?? Oil is Penrite Synthetic, Coolant and everything is the right level?
Any ideas? Its coming from the engine bay not the exhaust! The valve cover gasket did get sealed by sealant as did the lower sump which was leaking.
What do you guys think is wrong with my car??
