1998 civic stolen and recovered

my 1998 civic manual trans lx was stolen and recovered great news .. but now i need a complete ignition switch with the pot metel bracket and i need the plastic cover that goes around the steering column . my ?? are what years should i be looking for that will work on my car i have looked on ebay and some parts say which years will fit and other parts say only certain years im not a civic expert can you help me ?? thanks frank

it should be 96-00, im pretty sure nothing changed from 98 to 99 with the ignition and steering column cover

ya it might not have but why chance it? i would just stick to 96-98. guaranteed fitment.. one time deal
