Hey guys, I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX 4 door we just bought. Everything works great except the dash lights. All the interior lights work great except the area just below where the stereo is. This area consists of the two controls for the fan and temperature. I believe they should light up when the headlights are turned on and they don't. The entire area under the stereo is not working except the buttons just above the fan and temperature knobs. I'm pretty sure these two knobs ought to light up along with the area that shows how hot or cold you want the interior. I hope i'm not confusing people, but this is a pain when you are driving in the dark and all you can see in that area of your dash is the buttons that control where the air is coming from, ie...the floor vent, the window vents, etc... (they light up). The other two buttons that i talked about earlier don't light up. So, for instance when I am driving in the dark and I want to turn the fan from a 1 to a 4, I can't even see the button and have to turn on the interior light above my head to see where that button is to move it. And as I was saying if i want to adjust the temperature in the car by moving that knob I have to turn on the interior light to see where it is too. Shouldn't those knobs be lit up when the headlights are on??? I checked the fuses and they all seem to be ok. Any help here would be appreciated.
