Hey, I am new to this forum and decided to post plans for my 1998 civic Lx. Recently I've been hearing a lot of ricer bashing and I don't want my car to necessarily be rice, but I want it to be better. Currently my plans are like this
Currently Stock
R34 front bumper
Audi style black bezel led headlights
Led tail lights
16" wheel painted black and blue chrome (don't know what kind yet as I will probably refurbish something i get off craigslist
some 4dr side skirts (looking for reccomendations)
Duraflex B-2 rear bumper
Duraflex F1 fenders may just leave stock though
Advan Carbon Inturder hood also may leave stock
than interior will be black and blue with custom fit covers
a black steering wheel with blue center (stock)
Black velvet dash or painted not sure yet with blue accent pieces
black sunvisors with blue painted mirror covers

does this sound too ricey also I want to make it more of a modern looking car with an almost luxury feel to it not sporty. Would you reccomend instead of blue doing white and black
my car is black and needs painted as well anyone know where I could get a decent paint job for cheap just a respray nothing too major

Welcome. Some of that might end up looking ricey, but what matters most is what you want your car to look like!

Welcome.

It is very true that this is your car and you should do what you want to with it, that being said you asked for an opinion if it sounds ricey and to be completely honest, EVERYTHING you posted sounds terribly ricey. Painting random interior bits different colors than what they are supposed to be is extremely rice. Some parts more rice than others, eg: the audi headlights should remain on audis and look terrible when redone on other cars trying to copy.

Just my opinion, take it as you will.

BTW, we ask that you leave this section for introduction and leave the questions for other sections of the forum. Most members don't come in here and the threads tend to die out quickly leaving unanswered questions lying around.
