it probably will, itll change the v-tec point, redline, and fuel curve...(maybe couple other little things) there was a time when i was driving a stock JDM b16 hatch with a virgin JDM P72 (w/ some bolt-ons) and that thing ripped....it ran a 14.5 in the 1/4....also clean daily driver, though on highway speeds i was limited to 80mph at 4500rpm, any higher would be in vtec, thus dumping fuel. but i didnt realy mind goin 75, though a vtec controller can change that.


oh yea and youll probably have a checklight.*

it should plug right in...

Just not sure if you're gonna have any problems with it..

off the top of my head I would say no, because 99-00 civics use OBD2A while 96-98's use OBD2B. Also, IIRC USDM ITR ECU's have an immobilizer in them which would need to be removed somehow. I'd look into it further.
