1999 Dx Tranmission Problems PLEASE HELP

My Dx is having problems shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear (manual transmission of course) for some reason every time i shift from 2nd to 3rd you can hear the gears grind. I make sure the clutch is all the way to the floor but it still grinds. i need help, do i need a new clutch? or what? /:

your 3rd gead sleeve and synchro is bad on the trans...

Bad synchros.

Drain the fluid and add some Honda MTF to help prolong the life (wont fix the problem though) or just replace it with a different transmission.


ps: You need 2 quarts of MTF.
