2 15" polk momos

so ya im gettin 2 15" polk momo's sometime this month. because they are very cheap. and i personally like them alot. i used to have 2 12" regular polk audios(cheap ones that came already in box from circuit city) and my buddy had 2 12" jl w6v2 with bigg ass mtx amp i think it was 1800 watt. well anyways my cheap polk audios hit just about the same as the jl's which really suprised me. but anyways im looking for a good amp. and what wattage should i push to these 2 15"s? they are 400 rms and 800 peak each. so 800 rms. should i get like a thousand watt amp and also what are some good brands for amps. ive only had audiobahn and hifonics. the audiobahn sounded great but i fried it :/ and the hifonic kinda made the subs hit wierd, like wouldnt sound good when bass was really low. by the way i listen to rap. so what u guys think on amps?

get an amp that does 1000 watts

what ohm config are the polks?

but ya i was thinkin 1000 wat amp too.
i think i can get them to fit i just gotta look at boxes first. theres a place down the road that sells them so i was gonna see what fits. my friend had 15's in his civic before so i no it can happen

if i was you, id get one ma audio compitition 15, they will rock your ears off

i think they were bad ass, best speakers sound wise iv ever had, and iv been thru all the name brands

iv had, rockfords, jl's,pioneer, sony, uh couple others, only thing thats sounds better to me, is my hiphonics zeus that i have now, it f**king rocks , and its only a 12

nah i havent ordered them yet, im tryin to get some opinons.
i dunno about average. the twelves i had hit hard as hell. just as hard as 2 jlw6's so i figure 2 15's would be awesome

uh ya i gotta budget. im looking to spend no more than 300 on the speaker(s) thats just for speakers. i want loud but also good sounding subs. im lookin towards 15's, two of them unless i can get one that hits hard as hell. anyone no anything about audiobahn immortal?? i wish i knew someone that had one so i could hear it

I promise you that it will be WAY louder and sound better than the polks and the w6's

nah i cant build a box. u think just one 15" fi q will be louder and sound better than 2 15" polk momos?

It will

but a 15 needs a nice sized box..around 4 cubes ported

when u factor in 2 amps, box, and possibly a battery, the 15 won't fit

1 12 on 1200 watts is enough.
