2 dr bumper on a 4 dr?

well as yall can tell by my screen name, I have an LX. I hate the long smilie face look of it. So, i was just wondering whether i could fit an EX or some other 2dr bumper on mine.

i've seen it done, not sure how easy it is though. I agree the other bumper would look better. it might be easier to get a front bumper from a body kit.

it would fit..but you gotta make it fit if you know what i mean. i know a guy on cc who did this conversion. search the threads and maybe you will find a picture.

isnt it way to short? like the 3dr thin molding on a coupe...

it'll fit, and yes it is shorter so you'll have to make new holes at both ends of the bumper to screw on

Damn it, I all ready made a thead on this, don't ppl look? But anyways Its not hard. So far me & shinobi are the only ones on here who has done this on CC that I know of. Like shinobi said though, you will have to drill new hole at the ends & its easier if you remove tha black blocks & stirafoam from under the bumper.

I did it to my4dr. Civic also, and all i did was drilled new holes and it fit fine. Go ahead and get a 2dr bumper or get a 4 dr. one if you can find one.

I just bought a 2dr bumper off ebay last night. It is $190.00 painted and shipped. I can't wait to put it on.

that hatch looks nice I just dont know why some people like the black side moldings? Either paint them or shave them. Im gonna paint mines cuz damn they look ugly black.

Ive put the two door bumper on my sedan last summer. It looks much better now, but I dont really like how the headlights stickout over the bumper. Does anyone think it will be worth changing the front radiator support, fenders and hood to make it look like a coupe? I have access to all the parts. Give me some feedback on this. Thanks.
