1'est question, on a 6-7 boost is it recommanded for a intercooler.
2'end question, on a 6-7 boost, is changing out the stock clutch and good a idea? and if so what would be a good one for a good price for such a low boost?

yes to both, you wont need a beefy clutch with that low of boost, even a new oem clutch will last you awhile.... but i'd recommend a stage1 clutchmasters

especially on a d series, a clutch is manditory. you'll want to match your approximate torque number with the appropriate clutch (to be safe get a clutch rated higher than what you think you'll make). you will definitely destroy a stock or stock replacment clutch quickly on boost, even low boost. an intercooler is ALWAYS a good idea, and you can get stock ones, used ones, or ones like the johnnyracecar's for pretty cheap.

just seeing how the looks for the set up so far? and the dude that set this up for me, seems like what he knows about turbos, tells me for this set up, and with the boost it won't hurt the tubro, i would be just losing 30-40 HP

looks good, you'll really need an intercooler for sure with that setup.....

and i'm not sure about the fuel pump, that's a good question for handlebars

not having an intercooler wont hurt the turbo, it will hurt your engine. hot gasses being forced into your engine might cause it to detonate

you'll also need to modify the fuel system in that car. the d17s have a non return fuel system, which cant be used with turbo. you'll need to take it to a shop thats done d17 turbos before to have them put a return line in the car. and you'll need a special fuel pump, as the d17's fuel pump is integrated into the tank and is unlike older models. im no expert on d17 turbo, so i highly suggest going to a few different shops and finding out what exactly needs to be done.
