2 Quick questions about swapping clusters...

Yes, I ussed the search function, and I could not find anything useful for me...

Anyways, I drive a DX, and as all of us DX owners know.... Honda Motor Co. had the AMAZING idea to manufacture a Tach-less stickshift.... wtf mate, right?

Anyways, were can I find a good tach for my DX? I looked on eBay.com but it was like 200USD.... and it had about 345,000 miles on it.... my Civic has under 95K.....

So....

1) Where can I get a good cluster? I like the ones with white background
2) Is it possible to match mileage?

you can just get a regular ex cluster off of eBay...GL matching the mileage...that'll be a hard one.

In response to answer 2.

I just made that on my DX, I found a cluster down here and what you can do is swap the gauges, in the back you have 4 screws and are the same on any cluster from 96 - 00. If you have yours with 95K just take that out from the old one and put the new one in... My DX is a 00 and I put there a cluster from a 97 no problems...

Good Luck finding that one with the white thing in the back...

Go to a Honda junk yard near man and find the freaker! I´m in Guatemala and I found it... Should be easy for U

The fact that that is an Automatic cluster.... will it matter? Like, when I am in 1st gear, will it say 1 on the cluster? that would be kinda neat.

about the white background you can buy overlays for that.

And as far as matching mileage the three parts to the cluster are all seperate components. You can just move your speedometer to the new cluster and you'll be set. (or maybe you have to move tach, and gas/temp to your old one.)
