2000 civic EX just died now no spark to plugs

good day fellas,, first post... looks like an informative forum... looking for some help with the civic... just died while driving ... will turn over but no spark at the plugs ... replaced rotor and cap and inspected plugs ... also did the ignition T/Sing ... checked the coil .. and the ICM ... then bought a new ICM .. but still no spark at the plugs ... any common faults i should be looking for ... hate to buy the ECM ... looking forward to your replies

Same thing happened to my 98 about 2 years ago. I bought a whole new distributer from advance auto and it worked like a charm. Try that and if it doesn't fix the problem you can return the part.

alrighty fellas.......got spark......got fuel.......got engine turning over.......why won't it start?????!!!!!!
certainlt the ECU has to be working.....that's where the spark and fuel come from........

Are you sure you have enough spark? Get a spark tester and make sure you have good spark. From there, check firing order, and timing.
