2000 civic hx coupe vtec??? i need help guys

now i know the hx has vtec-e and i want to know what the simplest way to get just vtec. i dont rlly care about fuel economy but power i do. i dont have much money either. so will just changing the header help at all. i need help guys
please let me know what i can do. thanks

if you change the header ,you will get a check engine light, you can change the head for an EX head, it'll give you regular VTEC rather than VTEC-E.

okay thanks alot man. and will this affect the rpm level of when vtec kicks in?

right now i think its kicking in at like 3300rpm, with the ex head it might kick in somewhere around 5500
the cost..
maybe a few hundred bucks for a complete head swap, then the labor as well..depends on how much the shop wants to charge or if you do it yourself..you'll also need a new wire harness converter(if using 99-00 ex head) and the ecu
