2000 EX throttle body and IM?

i have a 2000 ex with basically no mods, except a short ram intake. i want to put in a Skunk2 throttle body and intake manifold but before i do i wanna know exactly what's up. i have seen how to's for a IM, but not a throttle body. basically all the coolant lines wig me out, haha. also, any idea how much power this would add? lastly, could i buy the IM and then get the throttle body later, would the stock TB fit with the IM?

may i ask y u want to do this as a first mod?

there are other ways to start modding with better gains.

i wouldnt even mess with the IM and TB unless u were going turbo or something other than the d16..

i was thinking i would start with these and just kinda move front to back haha, idk. what would YOU suggest? im not too big on doing an exhaust right now, i have a horrific fear of fart can mufflers. haha.

no need for a fart can. u can do a clean sounding exhaust with a little tip or a black muffler or something. im not saying exhaust, but are u keeping the d16 or do u want to do a swap?

what are ur plans for the car?

im just saying, dont waste money on mods that u arent going to need later.

what are u trying to do with the car?

if u arent looking for huge numbers then u dont need to upgrade fuel as of yet..

turbo? n/a?

intake exhaust since u are keeping the single slammer in there..

not a whole lot to do depending on if u want to turbo or build the d.

i just want a quick daily driver, probably not turbo i dont have the 2.5k for a turbo,

well i would just rebuild the head and get intake, TB if u must, IM if u must, header and an exhaust that fits ur tastes..

upgrade ur brakes and suspension and throw some nice wheels and tires on there...
