and I also have aftermarket z3 fenders already on the car..they werent exactly adding up to the bumper so that may be a 99 fender..whats the diff on the hood..they look very similar to me?

You should just get OEM fenders, they look cleaner than the Z3 fenders.

Hood, bumper, fenders and headlights are cut different, dats why u can't use the 96 fenders.

99-00 > 96-98 btw ;).

But yes: hood, front bumper, upper grill, fenders, headlights, and radiator support from a 99-00 or modify the 96-98.

The heaadlights have a slightly different design between the 96-98 and 99-00. The 99-00 headlights look abit more "finished" than the 96-98 ones.

the radiator support from the 96 - 98 is the exact same as 99 - 00
I know that and you that. Only difference is the tabs on the support that the hold the bumper up. the on the 96-98, they are bigger and on the 99-00 smaller, but its not a big deal. easy conversion.

yeah, its not like you have to cut it off and weld on a new one, i've done this conversion on a friends 97 civic, very very easy and the end result its very noticable. the 99 - 00 is way more clean.

false.

Im running the 96-98 radiator support with a 99-00 front and i have no problems. Only had to relocate the center tabs for the bumper, which a self tapping screw did quite easily. Bumper even covers the original hole.

You will however have to beat in the ends of your bumper support with a hammer to clear the bumper, or get a bumper support from the 99-00
