Car Worked Fine and had no problems, after being parked in a parking lot for an hour it would Crank but not start.

a few times i tried cranking i was able to get it start, but only stayed on for a second.

after putting the ignition key on 2nd position i do hear it pump.

there is no CEL Code.

it was night and had just started raining. so i didn't open up the hood to check anything.

any help to diagnose this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

i would personally check the groundings from the Transmission to housing if its not that my best guess would be that your Ignition coil could be fired its located in the distributor itself, if you do decide to replace it take a look at your distributor cap and rotor also might need to replace it too. Good luck

Barely cranks

I attempted to open the distributor cap, but didn't have the right tools. Will borrow from a friend to see if I can open it up and test the ignition.

Before I left tried crancking the engine and it was really low like barely crancking. Further indication of bad ignition coil?

My trusted mechanic did replace my old distributor cap and everything with a rebuild one I believe 2 months ago.

Looks like it may be the Ignition Coil

I Opened up the distributor and test the Ohm on the to point i didnt take the Ignition Coil Out!.

Also, I Uses an Analog multimeter and it gave me a reading of 2-3.

should i get it out and get it test it properly or is that the likely case?
