All other dash lights appear to be working, so I'm fairly confident it isn't a fuse. Any other recommendations on things to check before I tear the instrument panel out? Oh, and any instructions on how to tear the instrument panel out would be extremely helpful.
This is my daughter's car, she wrecked our 2000 LX with only 42K miles on it. Picked up the HX with 100K+ miles back in October, wouldn't you know it, less than a year later it won't pass emissions because the CEL doesn't come on when the car is started. The previous owner had tons of service records but I still feel like we got took. Keeping my fingers crossed....
