will the 2000 civic lx tail lights fit on a 98 lx. i know the lights that attach to the trunk are different so id have to get a new trunk but will they fit in the quarter panels? just wondering i want to convert the rest of my girlfriends 98 lx to 1999 - 2000 lx body style.

the taillights should fit one way or another...no need to change the trunk dude or anything else for that matter

Since you said LX, Im assuming you mean sedan. Yes, they will fit. You'll have to modify it alittle bit. I did a little test to show the difference between the lights Let me see if I can find it.
