2000 SI floor mats

Sorry I don't have any pictures. I was searching on the forum about floormats but didn't come up with anything and thought this thread was pretty similar so I posted in here instead of starting a new thread. I hope that's okay. Anyways. I have a '96 Civic Hatchback and wanted to know if Civic coupe (or SI) floor mats would fit in the front. I don't think they will in the back but that doesn't really bother me.

Just some background since this is my first post, I just bought a silver '96 Hatchback with knockoff JDM headlights, a lowered suspension (I think H&R springs and camber kits), a short shifter with the SI knob and boot, an EX cluster with a tach, an APC short ram (not a big fan but it sounds pretty damn cool), and a Ractive can. So far in the week I've had it I've dropped an Alpine CD deck with full-speed iPod control and Sirius radio (the Playboy channel is worthless), new Alpine Type-S speakers, a new magnaflow oval muffler with a subtle 3" tip (I prefer clean, not can), and got the windows tinted 15%. I need some 17" wheels (not sure of the style yet) because it looks silly lowered with hubcaps. A full detail and wax is coming tomorrow. I've never really been much into the tuner crowd but I get 36 mpg so I can't complain.

But back on topic. Anybody have any pictures?

I'm also looking for pictures of 2000 Si floor mats. Does anyone know if they are any different and where I could get them from? I would like to get some that are oem color or very similar and w/ a nice Si emblem in them (preferably red letter color).

mmm, not bad. Well I'm thinkin I would prefer the black to the gray even though I have the charcoalish or dark grey interior. I'm not 100% sure what exact color it is but I know its whatever comes w/ the fbp exterior color. What you guys think about black rather than the gray mats that come w/ it stock?

I have dark gray in mine and I find it matches the dark gray interior better, duh. But, when I had my type r steering wheel and black recaros.. mmhhmmm... then black floormats for sure.

good point. Well I dont exactly plan on dropping 800+ on recaros probably ever, but the steering wheel is a possibility in the future. The main reason why I was thinking black is just b/c I wanted to see if added a few added touches of black in the interior would look a little better and not so gray. I plan on also getting the suede arm rest w/ red stitching sometime in the near future so that would help to go w/ the black mats. If anyone remembers, I've just kinda been pondering the thought of doing either red or black door panel inserts and/or doing the black painted carpet diy. Have any pics that might help to convince me of one over the other?
