2001 civic 5 speed

i have a 2001 honda civic lx 5speed and i cant figure out if the noise im hearing is a throwout bearing or input bearing it has 212,000 miles on it and it makes a weird noise when in neutral and driving but when i push clutch in it stops. i have taken it to different mechanics and half say throwout and half say input. any ideas let me know im desperate for a good answer thanks

what are the chances of it being a input shaft bearing. my boyfriend can do it its just a pain in the but and we dont want to order the wrong part
