2001 Honda struts and springs

I'm the new owner of a 2001 honda civic. I need to replace the front struts and springs. Are the 2001 an all-in-one replacement product assembly, as are the 2003.....or is the spring a separate issue on the 2001, needing to be compressed, removed, and replaced?

depends on if your going aftermarket or not they sell kits all together. but most parts stores sell them seperatley so you will need to get a strut spring compressor to complete the job

You can rent a set of spring compressors from autozone for like $30.00. you get your money back when you return it though..
