2005 Honda Civic Antenna Adapter

Does anyone know what kind of antenna adapter the 2005 civic uses.....? I was reading somewhere that the 2005 civics need a special antenna adapter that only honda has in order to put an aftermarket stereo in there.
is there anyone that can verify this? All the hondas i ever worked on never needed an antenna adapter.......

I never heard of that. My gf has an 04 and when we had her new HU installed, no one said anything about an adapter. I don't believe the 04 is that different then an 05.

weird, yea i dont think so either........ i heard it was in the 05's though. but i have no proof to verify it, im just wondering because when i put my alpine headunit in this weekend i dont want to find out its the truth and have no FM reception
