Alright, i've been studying and researching about how much power to put down on the streets, and i've seen people put down from 280 to 300whp+ at a low psi, would 280whp @ 7psi would be fine to run daily? cause I wanna atleast run max 360whp if possible put drive around on 280whp.

you'd have to run more then 7psi and have agood mod list to reach your power expectation, especially with a single cam v-tec motor, it's very possible to drive around at any high hp numbers, but that's where the tuning and dyno runs come into play so you can get the car running perfectly.

i think that is what he is refering to a b18c1 engine turbo at 7 psi hence his name gsrcivicex... i do not speak from experience but from what i hear and read about the b18c1's are the best engine to turbo and can hold a lot of boost even on stock internals... so in my opinion i think 7 psi with the right tuning could be driven daily no problem... i do not know about the numbers though

no. even with all that youll need to run at around 15psi. I have a friend doing a full build on a gsr motor, he will boost somewhere in the 18psi range on a sc61, and he is hoping for 400whp. so i think youll need to boost around 15 psi, with a sc61, if you have a smaller turbo than that, youll need to run higher boost. if you are doing all that work, port out your head, get turbo specific cams, upgrade your valvetrain.... also, that intercooler...if you want 360whp, id get a 400-500hp intercooler. that mani sucks too. tell me this though, how much money do you HAVE or are GOING to spend, realisticly.

I've got money sat on the side that I have saved up, there for its around 5 to 7k im not mistaken, but I heard that my setup is fine for 360whp, but Im just still learning and making sure that i'm right, besides 400whp is to much to drive on the streets cause Id probably spend through all my gears.

first of all a stock b series rod wont last long past 300 hp
a shotpeened ls rod can somewhat hold that power
and 7psi will give u about 240whp if ur lucky and got the right turbo

Generally from what I've seen, with 7 psi you can only expect to hit around 225-230 with good tuning. A lot of guys run 10psi with great tuning and get above 250.

I've seen a dyno of a guy puttin down 260whp at 7.5 psi with the same setup that I'm doing with a GSR motor. better yet I was on cheapturbo.com and I seen a Civic with a b18c but down at 270whp at 6.5 psi

Just because you "seen" some guy on the internet with that kind of power doesn't mean you will get it. He may have had perfect tuning, as well as the perfect turbo for his set-up.

All I'm saying is don't be dissapointed when you dyno at 230.

Im going to hit more than 230whp with that setup, I promise you that.

Yes it is safe and very possible. Depending on how its tuned, and if you still have stock internals.

since you want 7psi, with the mods you listed, im guessing with good tuning i would say you will get about 250-260whp, if you want over 300 you would have to boost 10+psi. also..you should throw in a block guard also...
