get some decent light wheels with good all weather drag tires. like some yokahoma or something. or just save up a little more and go ahead and get a turbo

i was thinking of getting some skunk2 cams, cam gears stage 2, springs and retainers, and a pulley kit just to help build up the motor

i'd either just wait it out and get the turbo or start working on the suspension, cause handling would be the next best thing.

suspension is the best...im trying to build myself a good suspension. but this job doesnt really help. after the $600 i dropped on my 15" wheels...and the bumper im about to replace because of that kid hitting me...ill have to wait until i can get my other suspension mods. ::sigh:: oh well

yea.. if it were me i would do suspension. i could easily spend $2k on my suspension. if only i had the money, lol. of course, wheels + tires could potentially be a large chunk of that $2k you have. so, i would prolly say some wheels/tires and basic suspension mods. depending on what you do, that could be around $2k.

spend some of the 2k on suspension, and then put some cams and stuff in..your car will be sweet

id go with suspension as well, or at least put the money towards internals(not install, just save up for them) no point in getting parts for an NA engine if you plan on going FI.

i'd save for the turbo kit since its the most expensive upgrade that has biggest effect after installation, and then save for building and suspension.

No need to save, do some research get a custom set up for the turbo kit. $2k would easily attain you a good custom set up. I've seen guys piece them together for $1k+ complete. If you piece a kit together go with a set up such as this: This was a $1300.00 set up, pushed 228whp on a D.

T3 60 trim .48/.60 turbo
Uberdata
DSM 450cc injectors
Custom Manifold
Johhnyracecar 5 inch tall IC
2.5 inch charge piping
2.5 inch custom downpipe
turbo XS blow off valve

Or just throw it into a full btm end and head job. Rods/Pistons and such along with an Exospeed head job.

if it were me, i would use the money and put it toward preparations.... i wouldn't put i turbo on until you do some internals.... prepare for your turbo and then turbo it.... suspension can hold off just don't drive like a maniac...
