2nd battery for alarm

so i got a battery for free from an integra and thought i'd hook it up for my alarm..right now everything is ran off one battery..so im just asking if do i just need to find the power from the alarm, cut it, then hook it up to the second battery?..also will it work with my turbo timer? thanks

um i guess, go out and buy two terminals one for pos and one for neg. cut power wire to the pos terminal of the battery and neg to a different source of ground.

dont you need a dual battery isolator for charging reasons? i dont think that its as easy as just wiring up another battery...

if you want a backup battery.. then buy one for your alarm. one that's meant to be that.
