you could always look for a slip in silencer

yeah, dump routes back in... a little sooner tho. its a vibrant cat back. running a 3" cat. would a silencer affect performance? i'm def gonna put on a resonator. only got room for one tho. i got the 3" for perf only - not trying to be heard. idk what everyone considers loud, but i've had n/a greddy and dc sports. this particular boosted app is coming from a rsr to the 3" so there's a huge diff - both in sound and perf. the perf aspect is amazing. butt dyno says at least 50hp.

ordered a 16" res. no room for anything else. piping is soo close to shift linkage. damn heat shield vibrating like a bish.

My Inline Pro 3" was Loud as fukk.. so I added a Cat Cnvrtr. It's still a little louder than I'd prefer, but is tons better w/o.. I'd still like to add a resonator..

imo, if it's too loud for you then you shouldn't be trying to make more power. I wouldn't put s**t on the exhaust if I were you no resonator or no silencer. Hell, I wouldn't even throw in a cat  but that's just me. Just drive it slow when you spot a cop and shift REAL early, that's what I do. I have my 2.75 ehxaust going straight through the down pipe right to my $75 ricer shop muffler  and I don't even think my s**t is that loud.

maybe custom 2 3/4.
cops round here are asses. exhaust tickets are 2pts. last one i got cost me 250. i didn't think it would be this loud boosted. we'll see how much dif the res makes.

so.. you get points, for a f**king equipment ticket? that's wrong, d00d.. It isn't a moving violation.. Suddenly, Virginia doesn't seem so bad.. :what:

im in VA!!! the ticket was improper equipment. not sure about dmv to be honest, but on my insurance renewal - it said 2pts. thats where it hurts most anyhow!

a month ago, i got a ticket for failure to pay attention. there was a cop behind me and when the light turned green, i accelerated to the speed limit - not full throttle, maybe 3/4. i wasn't speeding, but he said "didn't you see me behind you?" i said yeah, but i didnt do anything wrong. wtf is failure to pay attention? went to court, judge didnt see it my way.

where the hell are you?
Both of those are beatable.. Unless you peeled out.. Then it's the old "exhibition of acceleration"... Yeah, I've got one a long time ago.. But the exhaust issue isnt a points-type violation..
